Description

Working band seeks Stage Manager/ Roadie / Audio Engineer / DJ experience (AUDIO and DJ experience is not necessary, but it will put you at the front of the line.) Mainly Fri / Sat. + some weekdays. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. You will be trained. YOUR DUTIES WOULD INCLUDE: -- lugging a small PA system -- setting up a few lights/stands -- other small tasks, like smoke machines, line-checking mics, etc. You MUST have your own transport (this means – NO uber, NO lyft, NO public transport, NO friends driving you around – your OWN car) As gig progresses, you may be put in charge of also driving the PA van, transporting the PA. YOU BE: -- over 21. -- fit enough to lug gear -- an organized person -- a good communicator. This means: speak English well and understand it well -- able to follow directions well -- residing in the Southern California area, near Anaheim (but not necessary). Most of the band’s work is about 1 hour from Disneyland (in any direction) -- NO excessive drugs or drink. You DON’T have to be a Musician or in a Band. -- However, if you ARE a young musician trying to break into playing the circuit, this is a perfect learning experience for you, as you will be exposed to all the aspects of a working band on the road, from the PA to the performance. -- If you are an aspiring engineer, it will also benefit you by DOING IT LIVE instead of theory in a book. -- If you have DJ experience, that would come in handy as well – for more PAY. PAY: -- The pay starts off small as you are trained. It will grow as you become independent with all your duties. -- The position will become more lucrative/worthwhile when your role becomes larger and more valuable within the band organization. PHONE: Jon -- DO NOT EMAIL OR TEXT. (Leave a message if you get answering machine, with your name AND NUMBER please!) (Working locations mainly around zip code 92832)
