Description The responsibilities of this position are, but not limited to, removing all meat from bones to ensure all quality requirement are met before the meat gets sent into the Processing Department. This full-time position will function during the hours of 6:20AM through 2:55PM or 4:20PM. Schedule may vary depending on production needs. Job Responsibilities Train in various positions within the Boning Department to rotate within the department as needed. Safely and properly utilize straight knives, wizard knives, Jarvis knives, saws, and other processing equipment. Properly adhere to all sanitary dressing procedures and GMP¿s. Maintain pace with the speed of the line. Properly conduct and document quality checks. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in a production facility is required. Knowledge of general USDA regulations is required. Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and GMP is required. Ability to work in a fast pace environment. Great communication skills. Member must be able to work in a humid and wet environment. Temperatures will vary depending on time of the year (winter/summer). Must be able to tolerate spice odors.
