Description
On April 16th we received a call about an individual who was going to dump rabbits into a field. These animals were purchased as Easter gifts, only to later be dumped when their novelty wore off. Unfortunately this is a common occurrence that happens every year. Luckily we were able to rescue these animals and treat them for their health issues.
Now they are BAR, fat and happy! All three have passed our health exams (including pregnancy watch for the two does) and are all ready for adoption! We do offer a meet and greet for families who are interested and considering adopting them.
Meet the rabbits
Toga: Toga is the quiriest rabbit you will meet! She's more of a puppy than a rabbit. She's gentle by nature and LOVE'S to play, binky and explore! She currently lives with her sister, Mina.
Mina: Mina, like Toga, is more of a dog than a rabbit. She has a bold personality and likes to play chase (very strange). She doesn't like to be picked up a whole lot but manages being carried around after a while. We haven't tried it yet, but both rabbits would enjoy walking on a harness.
Ozzy: Ozzy was crammed in the same cage as the girls upon arrival. This little bachelor isn't neutered but we are thankful he didn't breed any of the does. Ozzy is a cuddle bug and an escape artist! He, like the others, will run right up to you for pets and treats.
These bunnies would make a great addition to any family or school pet program. They are not altered and are an estimated 2 and a half months. If you are interested in these buns or would like to know more please PM us! Thanks!
