help! abonaded baby duck!

i found a baby mallard. it csnt hold its head up. i called the audoban society and they said put it in a shoe box and wont take it until tomorrow. it looks like its dying. it cant keep its head up. what should i do? can i force water down its throat? feed it? anything? please help!
