Join us in our BAC Art Lab to learn about this drawing technique! OP Art is a fun and interesting art lesson for kids! What it's all about: 🎨✍️ Op art is short for 'optical art'. The word optical is used to describe things that relate to how we see. Have you seen an optical illusion before? Op art works in a similar way. Artists use shapes, colors and patterns in special ways to create images that look as if they are moving or blurring. Op art started in the 1960s and the painting above is by Bridget Riley who is one of the main op artists. Recommended for ages 7 - 17, No skill level required! Robby Moore & Saja Montague will be your instructors. ⏰ Class Schedule: 5pm - 6:30pmIntro to Op ArtDemonstration of different techniquesCreate your own Op Art!We will create at least 3 separate Op Art pieces during this workshop.
