Small business looking for a reliable delivery merchandiser. This is Mon-Fri work around 35-45hrs per week. Job entails delivering merchandise to stores and stocking shelves. Routes are set by day. Business is located in Chelsea, MA. This position will require: • Pick and pack merchandise in preparation of delivery • Check packed merchandise for accuracy • Load and unload merchandise into and from a delivery vehicle • Ensure all paperwork related to the delivery of merchandise is accurate Delivery and store shelves stocking • Complete deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors. Stock the shelves with the merchandise • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied. • Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints from clients. • Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record. • Keep record of driving mileage and times • Break down product and maintain satisfactory product appearance • Rotate product by date – closest expiry date to the front • Maintain clean shelves by cleaning them periodically • Ensure all merchandise has accurate price tags • Remove expired and damaged merchandise • Stock product for new customer openings Delivery Driver Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver's license. • Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws. • Strong time management and customer service skills. • Ability to lift up to 50lbs • Attention to detail. CDL not required. DOT medical card preferred.
