A fun, outdoor, end-of-the-COVID-year celebration for Melican's graduating 8th graders! We hope your Melican 8th Grader will join their friends and classmates for a fun end-of-middle-school bash at Ski Ward Ski Area. There will be lots of entertainment including tubing, yard games, volleyball , an obstacle course, a DJ, ice cream and more! Please read all of the following carefully before purchasing your ticket! This is not a school organized or sanctioned event. It is being organized by a group of parents who believe these kids deserve a celebration!This event is for Melican graduating 8th graders only. We cannot accommodate siblings or friends from other schools or grades. We will be confirming all registrations. (Parents are welcome to stay as long as capacity—and your middle schooler—allow!)Students will NOT BE ALLOWED to bring in ANY beverages, water bottles, food, etc. We will be supplying all of the above.Students will NOT BE ALLOWED to bring in ANY bags, purses, backpacks, drawstrings, etc. unless there is a medical necessity (please let us know in advance if this is the case)Any student who would like to participate in summer Tubing MUST bring a signed waiver. There are a limited number of free tickets available to those for whom the cost is a hardship. Please only select this option if you are unable to pay.Mask/face coverings will be optional since this event will be outdoors.The cost for this event is being largely subsidized by generous donations from 8th grade families.
