Noise unit looking for cohorts

2 person ensemble. Into noise. type of noise stuff we enjoy listening to - Nurse With Wound, Eno, Girl Band, Haunted Horses, Chelsea Wolfe, Melvins, Butthole Surfers, Nirvana, Sonic Youth, Dead Can Dance, Cows, Alice Donut, Swans, hepa.titus. Into noise, sound and music of all kinds. We have no formal music instruction or training of any kind. Musicians are more than free to contact us but be aware of who you'd be working with. When I play bass, guitar or drums several people have said it has a Sonic Youth feel to it. Don't ask me to play a song. I won't be able to. Telling me to play something in the key of C means nothing. The other half of we is solid on a drum kit though unique. They recently began interacting with a guitar and things are progressing. We are looking for anyone so inclined to contact us. We have a room in a neighborhood house that we have our instruments and equipment in. Inventory - cheapo short scale bass with a 25ampeg amp, random pieced together drumkit, wood block, cheapo acoustic guitar and 10fender amp, 2 mics, midi keyboard, 2 cheapo monitor speakers, Focusrite scarlett audio interface and a laptop loaded with ableton.We have never went to the trouble of recording anything. We are looking for someone(s) that wants to come together creatively in the creation of auditory creation and media. We would like to keep communication just over email or any messenger service, even here on craigslist, for a bit. A face to face meeting would be mandatory after that before you were invited into our home. I suppose we could meet elsewhere to create and record.... Anyway- this is craigslist and any person I meet via it have to be vented to some degree so if you can't respect that - va-mooosh.
