Sunday August, 8th we will be holding a fundraiser to benefit the DiSaia family at easySpeak in Milford, DE. October 5, 2020 Tina Disaia was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. On November 17, she had surgery to remove the tumor from a 1/3 of her tongue, they also removed and tested 14 lymph nodes. Which 3 lymph nodes came back positive for the cancer spreading putting her in stage four. On January 5 she started chemotherapy and radiation, a week in she had to have emergency tracheotomy due to her airway closing and a feeding tube put in. They found out that the cancer had mutated and came back more aggressive. She completed 37 rounds of radiation and 3 very heavy chemotherapy sessions. On May 18, 2021 for her 90 day PET scan we found out the cancer has spread to numerous areas of her body from her clavicles, side of her neck, tongue, shoulder and lungs. The family is currently waiting for a treatment plan to start immunotherapy soon. Our fundraiser will be a day packed with fun all to benefit Tinas husband Joe and their 5 children during such uncertain time. entry fee of $25 for adults gets you into the fundraiser and food during the event. 14 & under is $10 and 4 & under free. We will have a cornjole tournament, DJ, moon bounce, slip and slide, ice cream truck, alcohaul for purchase, vendor tables, Silent auction and so much more. ALL PROFITS RAISED WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE DISAIA FAMILY.
