We will vetting families to ensure a successful rehoming. 1.5 year old male german shepherd mix is looking for a great home! He currently has a wonderful home, however, he tends to play too rough with the smaller canine residents and we are considering rehoming to avoid future injuries and let him live his best big dog life :) He is SUPER playful and loves everyone and everything! He loves tug toys, a good bone and other friendly dogs and people. He is always down for walk, trip to the dog park or car ride. He is about 80lbs, boards well for doggy daycare and loves water. (Like the garden hose or laying in a kiddie pool, not so much swimming at the lake.) He knows basic commands and has had some training. He is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered and obeys a wireless fencing system (collar). His rehoming fee is reasonable and included will be his crate, heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention and food to ensure this transition is an easy on him as possible. A home with no small dogs or animals would be best, as he has a high play and prey drive. However, he is not in any way aggressive. It's more that he is pestering and does not know that his 80lb clown self can easily hurt creatures smaller than him. He is smart and responds very well to positive training and gentle people.
