Join Conservation Nebraska, Big Muddy Urban Farm, and UNL Extensions to learn from panelists: Rhonda Freeman (Big Muddy), Brent Lubbert (Big Muddy), and John Porter (UNL Extensions) about their efforts to build stronger communities and promote regenerative, nutritious foods right here in Omaha. It’s time to get that green thumb of yours in action and we are here to share how! Learn how to transform your monoculture grass backyard into a wonderland of foods. We will be talking about closed loop farming techniques, along with the basics of gardening. We encourage you to bring your own lunch and/or munch from the garden.
