I'm 33 and have been playing Bass for 19 years. I have studied upright bass in college, however i don't own a double bass yet. I'm saving up for a nice one. I enjoy a multitude of genres, jazz, funk, classic rock, samba, jam, improv, bluegrass, even a little EDM and Classical. I have a TNT 115 amp that pumps, and transportation, I use both active adn passive basses and have a little experience on piano from college. I sing in tenor and soprano. Can read music, and have studied music theory and composition. But don't let that sound like i don't like to have fun and groove.... cuz i definitely do. I really can respect improv because some song you just can't discuss before jamming them, you just have to stumble upon them. I really like a nice deep thumpy sub bass sound. One that gets the chest moving. I am currently recording some of my originals, which i have about 20 or so.
