N.C. Meat Processing and Sales Regulations Workshop N.C. Cooperative Extension - Avery County Center will be hosting a meat processing workshop on Thursday, June 10, 2021. The workshop will be held at the Avery County Cooperative Center located at 661 Vale Road, Newland, NC 28657, from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM. Eddy Labus, Extension Agent-Agriculture, Watauga County Center, will present on N.C. meat processing and sales regulations. Bob Shipley, Manager - Watauga Butchery, will provide information on the "new" USDA inspected processor located in Watauga County, N.C.
