PLYMOUTH, MA- The Plymouth South Panthers baseball team played the North Quincy Raiders on Thursday Afternoon. Plymouth South won their last game against Hanover yesterday, 2-1.
On the mound for the matchups were senior Adam Maher for Plymouth South and Liam Hines for North Quincy.
In the first four innings, both teams were scoreless and there were only 4 singles between the teams.
In the 5th inning, Plymouth South juniors Matt Cassidy and Adam Maher both knocked in runs to make the game 2-0, which would be the final score.
Maher pitched a complete game with allowing only one hit and no walks along with 7 strikeouts.
Plymouth South are the regular season Fisher Division champions in baseball.
Their next game will most likely be in the Patriot Cup Tournament, stay tuned for updates.
