PATCHOGUE, NY — Just in time for summer, village of Patchogue officials voted to conditionally approve the construction of a new outdoor beer garden at the Blue Point Brewery.
The popular local brewery on 225 W Main Street sought permission during the planning meeting this week to construct new cold box, storage container, and bar top for beer service on the east side of the building.
In addition, they were looking for Architectural Advisory Board approval for exterior finish and lighting. The plans will also add picnic tables which will create additional seating for over 200 people.
At the meeting, after some concerns were raised by local residents, officials approved their plans on the condition that they would rethink the parking situation and if they pass an inspection, according to a report in GreaterPatchogue.
