Press release from the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office: May 26, 2021 FRAMINGHAM - Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Framingham Police Chief Lester Baker have confirmed the identity of the victim of an apparent homicide in Framingham as Jasmyn Beatty, 28 a resident of Halstead Apartments in Framingham. The investigation into her death remains active and ongoing at this time. Yesterday, at approximately 8:37 a.m., Framingham Police received a 911 call from a person known to Jasmyn Beatty reporting that she was dead in her apartment. Upon arrival, police located  Ms.  Beatty, who had suffered  obvious trauma. The death is being investigated as an apparent homicide. Investigators are in the very early stages of the investigation and have still not yet made a determination about whether or not this is an isolated incident. The Middlesex District Attorney's Office, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the District Attorney's Office and Framingham Police are actively investigating this incident and updates will be released as they become available. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted this case and will make a determination on the cause and manner of death. If any member of the public saw anything unusual early this morning in the area of 1640 Worcester Road or specifically the Halstead Apartment property complex, they are urged to call Framingham Police at 508-532-5911 or 508-872-1212.
