ViVa Vienna 2021: Prepare For Road Closures, Parking

VIENNA, VA — ViVa Vienna returns to town this Memorial Day weekend, May 29 to 31. Residents should prepare for bike path, street, and lot closures. As of 7 a.m. Friday, May 28, the parking strip on the W&OD side of Dominion Road will be closed from Church Street to Ayr Hill Avenue. As of 5 p.m. Friday, Church Street between Dominion Road and Mill Street will be closed. From 6 a.m. Saturday, May 29 to 10 p.m. Monday, May 31, the following areas will be closed: Church Street's westbound lane will be closed between Park Street and Mill Street. This section will operate with one-way traffic. Church Street will be closed between Center Street and Mill Street. One-way traffic will be allowed onto Church Street between Center Street and Dominion Road to allow patrons to access businesses such as Caffe Amouri and Cocoa Vienna and their parking lots.Mill Street will be closed to northbound traffic between Church Street and Ayr Hill Avenue. Mill Street will be closed from Maple Avenue to Church Street. Dominion Road will be closed from Church Street to Ayr Hill Avenue.The W&OD trail from Ayr Hill Avenue to the crossing at Maple Avenue will be closed. The parking lot and property of 125 Church Street NE will be closed. The alley adjacent to W&OD trail from the rear of Maple Avenue will be closed. Caffi Field will be closed to all non-festival activities.From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, as well as 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 30 and Monday, May 31, the Vienna Community Center parking lot will be reserved for vendor parking and be closed to the public. Shuttle service will not be offered at this year's festival due to COVID-19.
