Our client, a global automotive company, is hiring an Inventory Control Supervisor to start asap. This is a Working Supervisor role who will be managing a team at their Distribution Center in Winder. You will be responsible for overseeing all inventory in the Distribution Center while insuring its integrity and accuracy, plus be responsible for instructing and overseeing others during the cycle count process and coordinating all efforts surrounding maintaining inventory accuracy. There are day shifts and night shifts. You will primarily be working day shifts but need to be flexible to work overlapping shifts to provide training and coverage. Essential Knowledge and Skills: Effective communication (written and verbal) skills Proficient math skills Must be able to interact with other employees in a professional manner Ability to plan and manage multiple projects with attention to detail Ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers Strong team player Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job Basic computer skills and proficient with the use of Microsoft Office SAP WM experience is a plus Experience in inventory control and understanding FIFO requirements Have an understanding of container scheduling and freight shipping and receiving processes Experienced forklift operator – stand up electric forklift lift experience is a plus Experience Required: 5+ years in supply chain or a distribution center environment. We are also open to someone that has done inventory for several years and is ready for next step to be a supervisor. Plusses:
