Expeditor & General Warehouse Positions Available Antioch steel processing and distribution warehouse has an immediate opening for a full time general warehouse position. Requirements: - Exceptional organizational skills - Forklift training - Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day - Able to use hand grinders and other warehouse tools - Familiar with warehouse safety Preferred skills: - Welding experience - Layout and fabrication knowledge - Bi-lingual in Spanish Job description: Main responsibility: Expeditor. Expeditors are responsible for prepping all steel parts produced in the facility for shipping. This includes deburring all edges with hand grinders, piece marking, counting, and palletizing all parts. Expeditors use jib cranes and forklifts to move parts heavier than 50 lbs. Parts under 50 lbs are usually moved by hand. You must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day. Other responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks with forklifts, beveling, overhead crane operation, general shop maintenance, and all other tasks required by shop foreman or supervisor.
