Maintenance Tech – Day Porter needed for commercial office and warehouse building maintenance work. We are looking to hire a full-time, Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm, Maintenance Tech. – Day Porter position immediately. This person will need to work independently, and is responsible for completing the tasks outlined below with little to no supervision: • Daily cleaning of the grounds i.e. sweeping, blowing, and trash removal • Cleaning and stocking the bathrooms as scheduled • Cleaning the management office as scheduled • Special projects as directed i.e. painting, lightbulb replacement, or whatever is needed on the property. • Good communication and listening skills. • Must be able to read, write and speak English (bilingual a plus Spanish and English). • Flexibility to work with changing priorities and a variety of tasks. • Ability to respond quickly to emergencies. • Possess general knowledge of tools, materials, and methods for minor janitorial and repairs on electrical and plumbing components, use of equipment, drywall repair, and painting. • Must be able to problem-solve. • Maintain a professional attitude.
