You must have taken a Canning 101 Class (or be knowledgeable in basic canning) before taking this 301 class as we will not go over any basics, solely pressure canning techniques. Learn how to can in a casual, outdoor environment! Surrounded by woods & fresh air, you'll get hands on with some tricks of the trade with pressure canning.
Classes are limited to 7 participants as that is how many quarts a canner can hold. See, you're learning already! By the end of the class, you will walk away with the confidence to can your own savory, low acidic items!
$40/per person gets you 2.5 hours of class, a quart of your own flavorful farm fresh stock (veggie or chicken--not sure yet but itll be yummy) and 30 minutes to shop my private inventory containing items that will never be for public sale.
MASKS: Because we will be outdoors & everyone will have their own 6ft workspace, masks are NOT required.
