I'm not expecting a full-fledged Carpenter but I am expecting somebody with their own tools such as a hammer a tape measure a nail puller a speed square a pencil and the knowledge to use them. Some kind of construction knowledge. You should at least be able to read a tape measure and use a skill saw and a screw gun. Please don't waste my time if you have absolutely no construction knowledge at all. Pay is determined by what you know. I'm not scared to give a raise.
