4th Annual UN World Oceans Day - Presentation and Film Screening
Celebrate National Caribbean American Heritage Month with our 4th Annual UN World Oceans Day with an environmental presentation on "The Problem with Plastics" with Pam Lazos, VP for Communications, Global Water Alliance.
We'll have a film screening on 1.5 Stay Alive - How Global Warming affects the Caribbean. Co-Hosted by Miranda Alexander, President of Caribbean Community in Philadelphia and Ed Aguilar, PA Director, Coalition for Peace Action.
The event will be a socially distanced, free and open to the public and family friendly along the Delaware River Waterfront at Cherry Street Pier.
The event is held in partnership with the United Nations Association of Greater Philadelphia.
