Thank you for considering employment with Father Nature Landscapes! We are blessed to have continual growth since our start in 2006. Currently we are looking to add a Landscape Design Assistant to our team. Position is ideal for a student as it is part-time. You will be working alongside our current landscape designer and our team of 4 outdoor living specialists. This is NOT a sales position, nor do we expect you to sell designs or other aspects of landscaping. Your role will be to work with our designers to bring our clients dreams to life! Duties and Responsibilities: -Perform site analysis that includes assessment, photos, field measuring of existing site conditions. -Create accurate basemap drawings of client properties using Dynascape software -Prepare and attain necessary permits etc. necessary to progress projects -Professionally communicate with both with clients and other professionals of the industry pertaining to project details -Review plans, proposed changes, and any other necessary documents with great detail/accuracy -Keep organized documents pertaining to each project Qualifications -Working toward a degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, or related fields preferred. -Must have some knowledge of Dynascape and/or another CAD-based software -Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, GOOGLE Suite. -Must have current DL and good driving record -Ability to work both independently and in a team environment -Ability to see the big picture and interpret information -Extremely detail oriented, multi-tasking, strong organizational skills, ability to manage workflow -Must be ok with working outdoors Experience: Landscape Design, or working toward a degree in landscape design: 1 year (Preferred)
