We have an immediate opening for a shop fire safety equipment technician Join this unique, small team, working on different ships around the world, and no day is like the day before! It's a skilled position and we will provide you the hands-on training you need to succeed in this industry. REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical aptitude, ability to work with hand tools What the position entails: We are a small business providing fire and safety equipment inspections and service to the commercial fishing, government, and private marine industry. Training will be provided, and no experience is necessary. Hours will be full time, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm plus overtime as needed We are hiring for a shop technician position. This candidate would maintain the inbound flow of equipment for service, perform testing and refilling of portable fire extinguishers, extinguishing cylinders, and air cylinders, as well as other shop tasks. Hands on training provided. Entry level position - no experience required.
