Position Description: The primary job of this position is to help the owner operate and grow a glass business in Tacoma, WA. This is an entry level position in the glass industry. We must follow our procedures, stay true to our word and show up on time. 2) Committed: This is a very small business. You will be one of the first employees of a growing company. Commitment is everything. The business will not be able to provide service to our community without unwavering commitment. 3) Truthful: Telling the truth is hard. It’s also what sets us apart. Duties: • Go to quote requests for clients. Learn how to measure all types of glass, windows and doors • Go to installation jobs and learn the trade. Help out by grabbing glass, picking up tools, cleaning up, etc. Learn the ins and outs of glass replacement • Learn how the back office side of the business is run • Whatever you want to learn, you will be taught! Must Haves: • No drug use • Shows up on time • Valid WA State Drivers License • Able to lift 50+ pounds • Basic understanding of tools / construction • Great Customer Service Skills This position is for someone who really wants to be a part of a small business just starting out in the neighborhood. The owner will teach you everything they can about glass replacement and as the business grows, so will you. Pay is dependent on prior experience and will increase as abilities do. About the owner / company: Nadeem Shariff started TN Glass in 2017. Initially selling windows out of a Subaru, Nadeem was able to save every dollar from a job and use it to purchase more tools / equipment. At the same time, Nadeem was working as a nuclear test engineer for the US Navy (civilian). Also, the owner is an officer in the Navy Reserves. In May 2021, the owner quit being a nuclear engineer to take TN Glass to the next level. TN Glass specializes in glass replacement for windows and doors. The business is currently operated out of the owners house but as the employees grow, the company will shift over to a commercial real estate location.
