A year ago we lost our beloved 12-year-old golden to cancer. We believe we’re ready to take on a new start with a new friend, if you are willing to consider us. We are two working-from-home empty-nesters, looking to provide a loving "furever" home for a golden retriever. We know how active Goldens are and how much they love their walkies! Goldens are busy! Daily walks and weekend hikes are part of our routine. We love day trips, adventures, exploring the beautiful PNW, and…of course, our dog will always come with us. We’d love to have a best buddy to tag along. We can provide a wonderful home filled with love, snuggles, and snacks. Goldens are friendly, loving, and need to be around their people all of the time… and we love those traits about them. The ideal fit for us would probably be a purebred 6-month-old to young adult, either boy or girl, potty-trained, who can get along with one cat. Willing to pay reasonable rehoming fee and will be happy to provide you with more details about us upon request. We understand how difficult rehoming a loved golden can be and will be happy to frequently send photos and updates on his/her progress, if desired. Thank you so much!
