Fireworks and gun shots

Hi, when I was young I was fearless. I may have been little but I could take any dog down. Being a Jack Russell and all. But, I'm older now and things are really starting to scare me like gun shots and fireworks. Especially at night. When someone let's off a fire cracker or shoots a gun it sends me into a panic. I start shaking really bad and for the next two hours I am panting so heavy that my mom is afraid I'm going to have a heart attack. She needs me right now. She lost her dad, the love of her life and a really close friend in the past year. I need to be strong for her and protect her. So, neighbors, can you take it a little easy on the firecrackers and gunshots. I would really appreciate it. Oh and a couple more things. Please don't illegally dump or litter. It's destroying our community and says a lot about who we're are. Thanks.
