Press release from Ramsey County: May 25, 2021 The Board of Commissioners has proclaimed May as Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month in Ramsey County. The proclamation honors the irreplaceable roles of Asian American and Pacific Islanders through economic, social, civic, cultural and other contributions in Ramsey County. Ramsey County's population of 80,000 of Asian American and Pacific Islanders is the second largest in Minnesota. Commissioner Rafael Ortega read the proclamation joined at the board meeting by county staff and other community partners offered remarks.
