Description

GLENDORA, CA — Businesses will again have to pay penalties or fees associated with their licenses starting July 1. The city suspended the requirement for owners to pay penalties and fees for their licenses after it declared a local emergency in response to COVID-19 in March 2020 as a way to lessen the pandemic's effect on the economy, according to a statement from Glendora officials. "The city understands the hardships businesses have faced during this time and is encouraging businesses to get current on renewals before the suspension of penalties and fees ends," the statement added. All penalties and fees associated with past due business licenses will be restored starting July 1, and the city will resume processing payments. License renewal fees and penalties can be paid online at glendora.hdlgov.com. Businesses that are experiencing financial hardships or that closed during the pandemic can contact the city's customer service line at 626-376-4678 or email [email protected].
