I adopted this beautiful calico 2 weeks ago from a woman that was displaced by the Almeda fire. Although Patches is doing ok, it's become apparent that she prefers women rather than men. I think she'd be happier in a home with a woman and children, because that's what she grew up with. I'm a single man and live alone. I think animals are people too, and they (like us) need to be happy where they're at. She's a good cat, no bad habits that I've seen, but I think she'd be happier in a home that provides female ompanionship.
