Description
We are rehoming our six month old AKC male German Shepherd. We absolutely love him and he has been an incredibly loving family dog, but suddenly and unfortunately, he has decided he doesn't like children. He was never mistreated or teased, so we're not sure what triggered his dislike of children. He's not overly aggressive, but the growling is enough of a concern for us as parents to not take a risk. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to get him any type of obedience training as we both work full-time jobs, nor do we want to risk anything happening in the meantime. He is weary of strangers, but once he gets a few treats and some love, he warms up. He is completely housebroken and kennel-trained. He always sleeps in his kennel with no issue.
We have all of his AKC paperwork and he's had his shots. He is not fixed because we also paid the additional AKC fee so he can breed. We have spent quite a lot of money on him. He was bought from a breeder in Pennsylvania with over 20 years experience. We bought him for $2200. Rehoming fee of $1900. If you are serious about providing him with a loving home, we advise not having children or taking the time to train him or get him some obedience classes.
We will only meet at our local police station parking lot for our safety and yours.
