Tempe Shooting Leaves 1 Injured; Suspect Arrested

TEMPE, AZ — Tempe police arrested a man they said shot and injured a person on Thursday morning. The shooting, which occurred at an apartment complex near McClintock Drive and east Don Carlos Avenue Thursday morning, left the victim with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The unidentified suspect is a man in his twenties with a heavy build who was last seen shirtless with black underwear on, according to police. Anyone in the area is asked by police to remain indoors and call 911 to report any suspicious activity. Patch has reached out to Tempe police for additional information and will update this story.
