SHELBY COUNTY, AL — A relative newcomer to the Birmingham metro's nonprofit sector has named its first executive director. Hatching Hope named Keli Lynch-Wright executive director on the organization's fifth anniversary, according to a Birmingham Business Journal report. The nonprofit, based in Shelby County, provides disaster relief after fires, natural disasters and more. Since its launch is 2016, the organization has grown exponentially throughout the state and beyond, and expanded to other chapters and created the Hatching Hope Kids, Teens and Seniors programs. "Hatching Hope has been my heart and soul for five years now, and I am so excited to start this next chapter with the organization that I love so much and continue to serve those in need," Wright said in the BBJ report.
