Description
We have had to make the decision to rehome one of our boys, Flash. He was born 2-2021 and has poor eyesite (more so then normal rats) and has a problem with wiggly fingers.
This has been a problem with kiddos.
Flash needs to be approached with a closed hand and then he will be your very best friend. He does very well with other rats he just gets scared with open fingers. He was a very bitey rat (never broke the skin) and I’ve done a LOT of work to break that habit but because I have kiddos with special needs who struggle with it, he needs to be with people who can always remember to only approach him with a closed hand and be patient with him.
In order to adopt Flash, you must have other rats. Rats MUST have friends. You need to know about rats. He’s a sweet baby, but he’s not a first rat. If I didn’t have young children who adore their other rats, I wouldn’t be rehoming him.
You’ll need to show me pictures of your cage set up.
I also will not respond to any emails that try to shame or give us advice. I assure you this was well thought out.
