Dobro/lap steel looking for band

Experienced player with pro gear looking to join an Americana band, stringband, jamband, bluegrassy band…acoustic and/or electric… I’m NOT thinking just "1,000 mph straight-ahead bluegrass" here....more like Grateful Dead-ish feel to the music… Originals fine, and/or make covers our own - some smart jamming would be great, but not aimless half-hour space jams. I play dobro and lap steel. Definitely would want to play gigs with this band, not just be a garage band…but I’m not looking to be famous or rich… If you are interested, please respond with something about your band…thanks! ——————— About me: I don’t “band hop” but over the last 10 years in PDX, I’ve been in jazz, country, alt-country, Americana, rock, country rock, acoustic folk, and am currently playing in a gypsy/swing jazz band on mostly bluegrass instruments…Some bands just seem to implode rather quickly here in PDX...I prefer ones that last a long time... I’ve also played and recorded as a sideman with a number of bands on dobro, lap steel, pedal steel and banjo… If there’s a musical conversation to be had, I’m down with it - and my true joy is in playing live, especially with creating improvised parts (covers are fine, as are originals, but I'm not interested in learning note-for-note lines for either). I don’t sing - my instrument is my voice - and my musical goal is to devise a part to play that serves each song and other instrument best.
