Distribution center looking for an experienced & professional security guard. Duties include: • Open and close building daily. • Monitoring building and two secured entrances via camera and physical walk throughs, connecting visitors with appropriate person • Safety checks for all who enter including employees, temp employees, and visitors. Health and safety checks as per CDC, federal, state and company guidelines • Managing the flow of temporary employees – signing in and out, monitoring multiple shifts for breaks and lunches, timecards, etc… • Referring employees and temps to the appropriate manager for any questions or issues • Light admin/clerical work • Maintaining supply counts in multiple locations • Assisting in various departments as needed (Shipping, Receiving, etc…) Required skills/experience: • MUST be bilingual, English/Spanish • Must be very organized with strong attention to detail • Good communication skills – this position is often the first person to greet anyone who comes to the building • Exercises good judgement and discretion in dealing with a diverse group of people – deescalates situations appropriately and calmly if needed • Computer literate – Tech Savvy • Reliable, flexible, and punctual • Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs • Ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (forklift, manual and electric pallet jacks, etc…) – not required, but would be helpful We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, 401(k) with company match, Paid Time Off, Holiday and overtime pay.
