Keller is actively searching for a qualified shop and yard laborer to join our successful geotechnical construction team. Candidates need no experience, just open to learning new skills and eager to work hard with a construction company, bringing a great work ethic/attitude to the crew. The shop and yard laborer is an exciting position within our company due to the very diverse assignments. This position works with both shop and yard teams assisting in the preparation, mobilization, and demobilization of equipment, materials, and small tools required on our many different project sites. This position is based at our Commerce City, CO location. Applicants will be expected to perform extensive physical activity including lubricating and cleaning equipment, organizing construction materials and supplies, cleaning and preparing yard and shop area to eliminate rubble, debris, and any other hazards, along with many other tasks. Applicants will also be expected to drive company vehicles to acquire small tools, parts, materials, and other equipment from time to time (dependent upon MVR approval). Applicant may also be expected to safely operate hand and power tools of all types including drills, saws, grinders, mixers, power washers, etc. Experience driving ¾ & 1-ton pickup truck pulling trailers & a fairly clean & safe driving record is required. More experienced applicants will hold an active CDL driver license, skid steer, and/or forklift operating experience. Training opportunities are available. Pay range is $15-$20 per hour - actual pay rate is based on experience. All candidates must be open to travel (Daily per diem is provided along with all travel accommodations and expenses). Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years or older • Provide two forms of valid identification • Excited and willing to learn new skills including general construction terminology, tools, materials, and equipment • Eagerness to learn and have a coachable attitude • Excited and willing to work 5-6 days per week with some overtime • Stand, bend, lift up to 75 lbs. throughout the day • Be drug free • Have valid driver license and reliable transportation • Eligible to work in the United States • Possess the skills to work safely and efficiently Keller is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
