*** Crew Leader/Driver for Commercial Landscaping Co Needed NOW!! ***
Jobs
San Antonio TX
Description
Hello! My name is Matthew and I’m the owner of a small commercial landscaping company. We’re small but have large contracts and have operations in San Antonio and Austin and all the surrounding areas such as Boerne, Pleasanton, Poteet, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Kyle, Buda, Bastrop, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Taylor, etc. etc. I’m looking for a reliable, honest individual with integrity and a SOLID work ethic to help run this bad boy. The ability to teach with patience, listen with care and understanding, give feedback/criticism appropriately, and hold yourself and those around you to a high standard are absolutely essential. This company is my baby and I believe we’re all family. I need someone who can do the same. Must have a perfectly immaculate driving record, full understanding of and ability to operate all general landscaping machinery. It’s a plus if you are a handy mechanic to help work on equipment and even the vehicles when they’re down. Lastly, you must have a clean appearance and be able to communicate very effectively with clients (usually owners or high executives/leadership) as a face of the business and an ambassador on my behalf. I also offer hefty bonuses on bringing in new business, so having the gift of gab and a positive, outgoing personality is a huge help for that. I start everyone as an independent contractor for the first 60-90 days as a way for both of us to see if we’re all a good fit for each other. Of course full-time employment is available after the training / intro period. I don’t do residential, only restaurants, hotels, business complexes, etc. Familiarity with this type of maintenance is required. Knowledge in other areas like hardscaping, design, irrigation, parking lot striping and resurfacing, welding, tall tree climbing/trimming, retaining walls, etc are all HUGE pluses. What sets my company apart from many others: * commercial contracts - means work every week of the year; crews don’t need to worry about layoffs or reduced hours when grass isn’t growing * I’ve been an employee before - one who wasn’t appreciated and was taken advantage of, over and over again, so I know how to treat people very well. I made a vow to be the boss I always wanted and to treat people how I deserved and never got. I wouldn’t ask anyone to do something I am not doing myself or haven’t done already. If you’re appreciated, pay goes up. Bonuses, gifts, etc are always on my mind. Instead of trying to find people doing something bad, I want to “catch” you doing things great and reward you for it. * This business is my baby - everyone involved is also a friend and “family”, whether you like it or not. :-) * Growth potential - I know every job under the sun promises “advancement”, but I’m an entrepreneur and am growing this business. I NEED to have people advance and grow with the company, otherwise it doesn’t grow, period. Outside sales leader, area manager, and more are all possibilities. Even starting an additional “wing” of the business specializing in a particular area are strong possibilities (actively looking for some pro’s to run a tree trimming crew, irrigation crew, landscape design, power washing, parking lot striping/maintenance, etc). Let me know what talents and desires you bring to the table and let’s use them! Pay is completely negotiable and depends on experience, knowledge, and all you bring to the table. If the cold, heat, rain, or any other factors won’t get in the way of your hustle and getting a kick-butt job done, then please reply and let me know about your experience and how you think you could be a special benefit to my company! And finally, because the details matter, I will only respond to individuals who took the time and care to read every word of this post. So please reply either with email or text and in the first line type “I WANT THIS!” Then let me know what is unique about you from everyone else applying. Looking forward to hearing from you. Matthew
