Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Roll Off Truck Driver to serve our client with local deliveries. Starting pay rate ranges from $15/HR - $18/HR DOE. Our client needs candidates who can start immediately. The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 6 months Roll off truck experience. Our client offers excellent pay and opportunities for the right candidate! RESPONSIBILITIES Transport goods and raw materials over land. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Plan routes and meet delivery schedules Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Collect and verify delivery instructions Report defects, accidents or violations SKILLS Proven work experience as a truck driver Ability to drive and maneuver vehicle safely Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Must be an excellent multi-tasker.
