Lucky Foods is a local food manufacturer of high quality Asian foods. We are seeking a warehouse person with potential and desire to make the move into a lead position. This position will take charge of our shipping and receiving and warehouse operational plan. We are rapidly outgrowing our current location so there is unlimited growth and career opportunities for someone with ambition, detail orientation and the ability to learn rapidly and be an immediate contributor. • Ensure that all warehouse equipment is properly cared for and always in an operational state. • Ensure that all food safety guidelines and procedures are being followed so that all products manufactured by Lucky Food employees meet or exceed FDA, SQF Guidelines, GFCO and Kosher Requirements. • Ensure that all warehouse locations are clean, orderly and that all products, raw materials and raw ingredients are in their proper bin locations. • Ensure that all warehousing activities are carried out in a safe and sanitary manner. • Ensure that all order and receiving paperwork are properly filled out and dispositioned to the proper person within Lucky Foods. • Learn and Master our MRP program to insure that we receive what is ordered and ship what the customer requests. • Required: o Reliable way to get to work. o Knowledge of warehouse operations o Strong written and verbal English skills o Strong detail orientation o Strong math skills • Preferred: o High school diploma and some college o 2 year in warehouse work preferably at the lead level o Bi-Lingual Spanish/English o Sit down forklift certified o Stand up forklift certified o Reach truck certified
