PLEASE APPLY IN PERSON ONLY Tuesday – Thursday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm 2nd Chance Pallets – 213 E. McLeroy Blvd, Saginaw, TX 76179 EIGHT POSITIONS - READ CAREFULLY FOR ALL INFO!!! Starting pay will be $14.00/hr (Will move to piece rate after training period is over, this will average $20+/hr) Pallet Builder – • Builds pallets and crates with pneumatic nail guns. • Must be able to read a standard tape measure with accurately. • Must have lumber knowledge. • Must have pallet grade knowledge. • Must have confirmed experience from another pallet company. • Must come in for a test with our Production Manager. Starting pay will be $14.00 Forklift Driver – • MUST have former PALLET COMPANY experience • Pallet grade knowledge a MUST • Lumber knowledge a MUST • We only have Toyota sit down forklifts. • Forklift test required. THESE 6 positions start at $12.00/hr Floater Position – • Banding the pallets in numbered stacks. • Stamp pallets with our Heat Treat symbol on pallets that require it (they MUST be ACCURATE). • Any other shop related tasks that the Production Manager needs you to do. Hog Position – • Dismantles pallets. • This is a very labor-intensive position and is a two-person job. • ***MUST be able to repetitively lift 75 pounds*** • Any other shop related tasks that the Production Manager needs you to do. Resaw Position – • Feed lumber on a belt. • Must be able to read a standard tape measure with accurately. • Any other shop related tasks that the Production Manager needs you to do. Trim Track Position – • Feed lumber on a conveyor to cut deck boards to certain lengths. • Must be able to read a standard tape measure with accurately. • Any other shop related tasks that the Production Manager needs you to do. Chop Saw Position – • Cut wood to specific lengths. • Must be able to read a standard tape measure with accurately. • Any other shop related tasks that the Production Manager needs you to do. Notch Position – • Cuts the notches in the pallets. • Must be able to read a standard tape measure with accurately. • Any other shop related tasks that the Production Manager needs you to do. All candidates must wear jeans and steel toed boots. We will provide gloves, eye wear and hard hat (if applicable). We also have back harnesses available if needed as well.
