Hi all Ive had rats for the last four years. We brought in three as rescues and they were already somewhat old. after a wonderful year (they were 2.5 years and almost 3 years old) two of my three boys have passed. That being said i know it is not recommended to keep one rat by themselves... and he is not handling the grief well. im looking for three or four boys that i would have in a seperate cage until its time to do proper introductions. (while i would love for my boy to get along great with them right from the get go i dont know how hed react so i want to take every Necessary precaution when introducing them.)
