Seasonal Full-Time Position as the night time ditch rider for a small local irrigation company. Under the direction of the main (day time) ditch rider the night time ditch rider will fulfill the following responsibilities, and others as assigned between the hours of 6 PM and 6AM, Sunday through Saturday: (Start immediately, and work through the irrigation season (October). Responsibilities: Ensure river pumps are running properly. Clear river screens of debris. Make sure canal and pond water levels are maintained. Drive a company pickup. Spray weeds. Assist with road maintenance. Clear screens of debris. Communicate effectively with the day time ditch rider. (And others) Looking for a team player who can work independently with instructions, is detail oriented, is honest, is hardworking, and is a quick learner.
