Jax Dirtworks, Inc is Hiring for a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic. We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to assist with preventative maintenance and repairs of diesel equipment in the field. This includes John Deere and CAT Dozers, excavators, track hoes, skid steers, ect. You will travel to various job sites as well as work in the shop to make electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs on equipment such as excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, and more. Applicants should have at least 3 years of heavy equipment experience. A valid driver’s license is required to travel to job sites. Heavy Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities • Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance • Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines • Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs • Complete shop paperwork • Maintain a clean and safe work area Monday thru Friday We offer excellent Health Insurance, Dental and Vision Benefits.
