Great Companion Cat for Senior Citizen

This eight year old cat has been a loving companion for my 91 year old mom. I honestly believe that this cat prolonged my mom's life by giving her something to focus on and take care of. Unfortunately, my mom recently fell and has been put into hospice and is no longer able to care for her cat "Miss Kitty". Miss Kitty has always been an indoor cat and is sweet and loving. She has never been around dogs or young children so I'm not sure how that would work. However, if you know of a senior citizen that could use a companion she would be PERFECT! Miss Kitty is currently up to date on her shots, spayed and well groomed. She loves to be a lap cat. I would love to take her in myself but I am a renter and my landlord would freak out.
