Description
Location of our subdivision is shown on the map. We would like to hire a mason to tear down the existing crumbling brick planters and install 3 concrete raised planter beds at the front of our house. The total length dimension of the 3 planters is approximately 81 linear feet. The height should be approximately 12" - 14". The width should be 5 - 6". There are 3 separate sections -- see the photos.
We envision the job should involve the following:
- Knock down and dispose of the old planter bricks.
- Prepare forms to fit the same current outlines of the brick planters.
- Use rebar for interior concrete reinforcement
- Pour concrete and remove the forms after the concrete has set
- On the front of the new planter beds, install ledger stone that closely matches the house's brick facade.
