Berklee Drummer/Vocalist Looking for Cover Gig

Recent transplant from the DC/MD/VA area... looking for tight gigging cover band. Comfortable with rock, pop, funk, r&b, modern country and even the occasional hard rock thing. In terms of vocals, I'm a second tenor... Jackson Browne, Bill Wither, STP, Glen Frey... that sort of thing. Be forewarned, I am not a tickler of the drums. I am trained which means I can play with dynamics, but I grew up on Bonham, Copeland and every drummer out of Motown, Philly and the JB crew of drummers... so I like punch and tone. Hell, I even TUNE my drums. Ha ha. Anyway... Just looking for a group of solid players who actually learn the tunes and are fun to hang with. I'm open to the entirety of SoCal... Temecula Inland, San Diego area etc. Message for samples... audio, video etc. Have a few albums up on iTunes as well... and feel free to send me your stuff as well.
