Looking for a puppy

Hello, I recently got out of a very long relationship which has left me extremely depressed. My best friend was also recently in the same situation and he was gifted with a little Chihuahua mix puppy named Ladybug. It's safe to say that she has saved his life many times over and I am in need of the same savior. Although I can afford to take care of a puppy, I do not have any significant chunk of change to spend on a rehoming fee. Therefore I'm looking for a free puppy that somebody is trying to find a good home for. I know that beggars cannot be choosers however I would like a smaller breed as we will be living in my camper. Soon I plan on moving to Northern California, so this is my current living situation.
