K&S Staffing Solutions are seeking Packaging Technicians. Position Summary: Will be performing a variety of duties such as: Operating the palletizer, physically moving pallets and product around the warehouse, provide product to customers in a timely manner, properly maintaining all documentation, assisting the Quality Department as needed and will be reporting to Customer Logistics Manager on a regular basis. Duties include but not limited to: * Review and complete the Packaging Tech Daily Task List * Will be using hand truck, forklift, hoist and other material handling equipment to receive, store and transport material and deliver product * Will be using power equipment to move finished pallets and organizing all empty finished pallets * Will be monitoring power equipment and conduct daily inspections. Follow maintenance and inspection check list for any need for equipment repair before operation * Will be monitoring the palletizer and give direct feedback to the Vision Inspection Lead and Maintenance Department in the case of any technical problems * Will be placing and transporting stored finished goods in the proper storage location * Will be using RFID System to create, record and ship product * Will be staging and shipping product to customers and maintain all paperwork in regard to all shipments * Will maintain accurate inventory of all product * Will perform general housekeeping duties in all assigned areas as needed for a safe clean work environment * Must follow company policies, procedure and comply with standard safety rules and regulations * Must be a team player, follow all instructions and take part in problem solving meetings Physical Demands: Must have no physical limitations to bending, lifting, stooping, walking, kneeling or crouching. Will occasionally be required to sit or crawl and lift up to 40lbs. Must be able to hear and talk clearly. Must have good vision; Close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus is required. Must be able to operate a fork sit-down lift truck to move material and palletize goods; operate manual pallet jack to move material throughout the warehouse and between sites; Will require being able to bend and twist of the waist.
